In addition to being student space, GHC is also the newest research space operated by the MIES. The space will serve as a living energy systems laboratory for the new ICE Harvest project. Over the past two years the ICE Harvest team has worked with both student stakeholders and contractors alike to integrate sustainable energy systems into the building for future research and innovation. As the construction comes to a close, the teams looks forward starting new research endeavours in 2018.
